When you join a Member Institute of the IYA (UK) you also automatically become a member of IYA (UK).  Click here for information about membership of IYA (UK).

IYA (UK) Affiliated Centres

Private centres or organisations not in a position to become Member Institutes are eligible to apply to the Association for Affiliation providing that: 1) the only yoga taught is Iyengar yoga and 2) no classes which conflict with the principles of Iyengar yoga are taught. For a minimum annual payment of £100, affiliated centres are able to advertise and promote as an IYA (UK) Affiliated Centre, have listings and links on the IYA (UK) website and receive an agreed number of copies of IYN.   Click here for an application form and further details of how to apply.  A Word version of the form is available here if you would like to complete and send by email.

Friends of IYA (UK)

Private centres or organisations not in a position to become Affiliated Centres but where Iyengar yoga is taught by an Iyengar yoga teacher who is a current teacher member of IYA (UK) are eligible to apply to be Friends of IYA (UK). For a minimum annual payment of £25 they are able to promote and advertise as a ‘Friend’ and they receive an agreed number of copies of IYN magazine.
